The United States says Iran wants to build a nuclear bomb. Iran says it's doesn't. The question - which of them is lying?

Iran's lying. They've got vast oil reserves and n osign of wells drying up, what do they want nuclear power for?

They guys in charge of Iran don't want the nuclear bomb. They have already declared it haraam (sinful). However the President of Iran (who has no power in this matter) is trying to whip up the issue to gain popular support.
No doubt there are elements in Iran that would be comfortable obtaining this technology, but we should not be playing into the hands of the rabble rouser Ahmadinejad.
